The wine region of El Penedés

THE PENEDÉS, located 20 miles south Barcelona (45 minutes drive), fringed by magnificent beaches and cloaked by the mountains inland, offers a unique and singular countryside landscape, never-endind vineyards, traditional farmhouses or masies, interesting heritage sites and numerous wineries and cava producers known internationally.
An interesting way to discover the countryside of Barcelona, its aromas, flavours and emotions visiting one of its famous wineries (Torres or Cavas Codorniu) and tasting some of their excellent local wines.
This tour can be combined with the visit to Montserrat and its Monastery or Sitges, the little Cannes near Barcelona, becoming a full day tour.
Tour duration: 4 hours approx
The tour includes the interior visit of one winery (Torres or Cavas Codorniu) and the taste of 3 wines.
